Just For Fun
Well - the fun part will be next, first a quick update on Ryan's eye. We saw Dr. Estes yesterday and he was overall pleased with how everything was looking. He explained that the inner muscle of his eye was so tight (the tightest one he had ever seen in his 30-something years of practice) that apparently Ryan's brain was sending a constant signal for it to contract - that most likely explains what is happening to his face and causing the facial palsy, we need to pray for that signal to STOP and let those sweet muscles work again. I got a little sick at my stomach when Ryan could only see the biggest letter they showed him with the "bad" eye and said he couldn't even see any of the other letters - all I could think was "great - his eye is now straighter, but he can't see out of it!!" I have always been amazed at how well he could see with that eye even though it was so crossed. Dr. Estes was not concerned about that at this point - says it still has lots of swelling and time will tell, etc. As I was silently freaking out God reminded me of my friend's little niece, Hopie, and sweet Mr. Gavin - both are blind and I am sure their mothers would give anything for them to have at least one eye they could see out of - God is good to remind me to "get a grip".
I also am asking for prayers for John Marlin - I've written about him before - he's 5 years cancer FREE!! (leukemia) He recently had his clinic visit and was having some pain in his rib cage - an x-ray showed that he had a broken rib and that there was a cyst that had been the reason for the break. His dr. says these are usually benign, but with his history they have to cover all the bases. When you've walked this road - news like this can just make your stomach do flip flops and it just plain wears you out. John just started his senior year and just wants to be doing the normal stuff - please pray with us for this to be benign - for peace for his family - Curt and Emily, while they have to wait - this stuff seems to always "pop up" when you have a long w/end ahead of you. We love you guys and are boldy interceding.
Okay, now for the fun - we just can't seem to come to any agreement on a boy's name for this little one on the way - so I wanted to hear from you guys and just hear what your favorite boy names are. Rob and Ryan are united and have already named him - but I'm not on board - of course, I'm not really bringing anything better to the table :). The name they have chosen starts with an "A" - I like the name, I just don't want two "A" names - Addie and ........, if we were going to do that, then Ryan should have had an "A" name and it's too late for that. The men in the house tell me I need to get over that. Everytime we ask Addie she says "Poo Poo" .... every single time. I guess that's just her opinion of all this boy nonsense :). So let us hear from you - you can leave the comment here or e-mail me. I need some help here - or I guess you can take Rob and Ryan's side - and tell me to get over it as well.

So, "Poo Poo" is not in the running? I don't think you want my opinion since these are the names of me and my sisters: Kerry Lee, Karin Lynn, and Kyle Lennart--so three KLOs. :)
I like the names " Trey " and
"Torin" or "Travis". Then you will have an A, R, and a T. spelling ART. Discribing your 3 beautiful works of art from the Lord.

My favorite was always Ethan. It took me a while to let it simmer so I'm probably not much help. I like Jonas and Silas, too.
Addie, Ryan, and Marcus.....I don't know why, M sounded good, Mathew (gift of God), Michael, Monty, Morris, Maddox, Mack, Martin, Mason, Max, Myles, Morgan :)
Then maybe the 'A' name can be the middle name??
I also like to search by meaning....protection came to mind....
I like William (Will)...."protection"....
Blessings to you!!!
My favorite is Jeremiah. That would have been my third boy name (Jacob, Joshua, and Jeremiah)!
Love you,
Christy
AIDEN.... WHATCHA THINK. ;-)
I always liked the name Brady. I also like your "A" name, but I'm not takin' sides. :) It was on our short list. Thinking of you today.
