Still doing well!

Ryan slept really well again last night. He is sleeping lots, but no nausea so far - thank you Jesus! I am still holding my breath ... and praying as I know many of you are too. He is fairly irritable and extremely bossy right now. I can see we will have lots of undoing - they tell you to parent for the future, but that is alot easier said than done on most days. Rob just took him to the play room and then they are going to get lunch at the Pizza Hut. It is very nice that he can get out of the room some and it is wonderful!! that he feels like getting out - it makes me so sad for the many who can't leave their rooms- some because of infection precautions etc, and then some who just feel so badly. Pray for these sweet children - they are so courageous. We may be one of them at some point, but for now, just grateful he can get out a little. He's eating fairly well - not his usual appetite, but at least he has one. Looks like we are still on for coming home on Moday.

I hope you all enjoyed knowing Rob - after the last post about my birthday I wouldn't expect to be seeing him around for a while:)!!! He snuck that one in on me - the first time I read that post - that part wasn't there. Thanks for all of my e- cards!!!! You all are the best - we couldn't be more blessed!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mary Lee-That sentence was not there when I read the update last night. I hope Ryan continues to do well and I know you will be glad to get home tomorrow.
You should give me a call and let me and Ms. Andeson come over and stay with Ryan and Addie one evening this week and you and Rob can go out and celebrate your birthday. Think about it!!

Good news on the chemo so far. Happy Belated Birthdat Mary Lee!!! Robb, the Bible passage I was thinking of was not in Jeremiah (1:4-19, a good one nonetheless) but is Isaiah 51:7-16. Although it not what we lawyers (snakes) would call a "red-eyed hog", I like it anyway!

Ryan,
We are praying for you every day. Josh prays for you in all his prayers ("Dear God, thank you for my food... and help Ryan feel better"). We are so proud of you for being so tough and brave. Josh can't wait to see you again at school.
