"... This is a day of good news ..." 2 Kings 7:9
Ryan's MRI was clear - the computer system was not working, so we weren't able to see the pictures. Fine by me as I haven't looked at any of the pictures since this all began - I'll take Dr. Kuttesch's word that it was okay. We are very relieved and Praise Jesus for this very good news!! I told Ryan we could have lunch anywhere he wanted (I'm thinking Olive Garden, Logan's, etc.) - he immediately chose McDonald's! Of course, it's not about the food - it's all about the toy! When I tried to persuade him to go elsewhere - he informed me that chicken nuggets have lots of protein and we always tell him he needs lots of protein. I was very thankful however that he didn't want to go to the Pizza Hut at the children's hospital - for some reason, I get so claustrophobic eating there. I guess one too many meals there and knowing we have several more to go - anyway, I was glad he didn't choose there as he usually likes to eat there.
We will be admitted next Thursday for our first chemo round. Not so excited about that - but for now, we will rejoice in the good news of the moment!! Thank you Jesus!

Praise the Lord! We rejoice with you that Ryan's MRI results were clear. We know that there is still a long road ahead and we pray that the Lord will give you strength beyond measure for the days to come. Carter has become quite the prayer warrior through all of this and prays for Ryan at least 4 times a day - so please know that you are constantly being lifted to the Lord for encouragement and total healing for Ryan.
That is outstanding news. We're thrilled to hear that, and to hear that you all had a good time in Knoxville! Praise God, he is good!

What wonderful news- our God is so good. I am in the MOPS group at LH that has been praying for dear sweet Ryan. I check on Ryan through your site often and lift you guys up in prayer. I am so thrilled to hear this report. We will continue to pray as the chemo starts- I know it will be another long, long road to go down, but if it will kill that cancer- it will be worth it. We are rejoicing with you! Keep up the good spirits and know many think of you many times a day!
In Him-
