Bald is beautiful !!!

Here's a picture of what we look like now. I looked exactly like this 12 years ago when I met Mary Lee (I was in the police academy at the time) but little did I know that a decade later I'd be shaving my head for a completely different reason. Ryan still looks cute, although I can't say the same for me. I'm lobbying for Mommy to do the same to show solidarity and support but I don't think I'm swaying her much. Mary Lee took Ryan to radiation and the oncologist today and everything went well. His blood counts were still up so he did not need a blood transfusion. The doctor told her that once radiation is completed (around the week before Christmas) then we would have about a month break before he would start the chemotherapy. It sure will be nice to have a few weeks of freedom. Ryan and Addie are ready for Christmas and they are determined to get our tree up and they want lights outside like the other houses in the neighborhood. I'm taking the day off from work Friday to stay home and get the Christmas decorations up.

Another "Amen" from a baldy. Your family has been on my heart this week, and I'm praying for you guys.
How great can two guys look?!?!? Just remember to keep your hats on now that it is colder. Ryan is a trooper and you all are an inspiration to us all! Good luck with the lights and you know where we live when you get done if you feel like doing more!
Rob, keep the faith, you and Ryan are always in my thoughts. Wishing you nothing but the best! Take care.

Rob and Marylee, Hi from San Diego. My church family (Cornerstone church in Poway, California) has been praying for you all. My church would like to send Ryan a prayer quilt if we have your permission. We will pray over the quilt this next Sunday. Ryan will be wrapped in the Lords comfort and warmth with abundant prayers tied in each knot on the quilt. Please let me know this is okay with you so we can plan to pray over the quilt specifically for Ryan. In Gods Hands.

Ryan, you are a tough little soldier and I'm constantly made happy by your progress. You and your dad look pretty cool with your matching haircuts!
I'm from Memphis Tennessee, and have only met you once - a little over a year ago at my cousin Emy Joe's and your uncle Keith's wedding. Wow what a personality.
You and your family are now in our daily prayers, and we love to keep up with you through this blog site. God Bless You and your family. -Diane & Lynn
Ryan, we added you to our prayer request at church on Sunday. My sister-in-law, Nicole, who goes to your church, forwarded a prayer request via e-mail a few weeks ago, and my husband and I have been keeping up with your successes each week. Hope you have a good week. You are in our prayers.
