Addie was SUPER!
Thank you so much for your prayers ..... Addie was absolutely incredible!! Dr. Amis (our wonderful ped.!!) and the nurses were amazed .... she is growing up. She hopped right up on the table and held that little arm out .... only a few tears and a scrunched up face when Miss Libby stuck her ..... that was it!! Libby asked her if she was going to be brave, Addie said "yes". I was sooo very proud of her. All of her blood work came back just fine - praise Him for that!!
Ryan is feeling pretty well I think .... gets pretty tired, but when he isnt' he goes full speed ahead. His counts are way low this week, so no getting out or fresh fruits and veggies, etc. He seems okay with it this time. He has gotten to do several really fun things lately though so I think that helps. We try to cram lots of things in before the counts drop. He and his Daddy got to go have a really fun afternoon with Ryan's friend Carter (Julie and Rusty .... you have NO idea what you all did for Ryan's spirits!!! - he hasn't stopped talking about it and is very anxious to see Carter again!). Carter's dad is involved in having a new golf course devolped .... right now it is a boys paradise (according to Rob) .... they rode gators, an excavator, and a huge bulldozer ... Ryan got to work some of the knobs and handles too (can you tell I have no clue what I am talking about :)). They had mounds of dirt as tall as our house I was told .... they got to run and play and have a great time .... I think Daddy enjoyed it as much as Ryan! He's also gotten to play with his friends Tiffany and John David, so a good week most definitely!
Addie and I went to see Miss PattyCake (www.misspattycake.com)
Addie had lots of fun singing and dancing ..... she got to meet Miss PattyCake and sit in her lap ... it was precious. As we were leaving the church, Addie looked at me with the biggest grin on her face and said "I wuuuv Miss Pattypake). It made it all worth it .... I had actually thought of not taking her since the whole family was supposed to go and some friends were supposed to go ... Ryan couldn't go with low counts and our friends were sick. I always feel guilty going ahead and doing things when Ryan can't do it too ..... actually, I don't think he would have really gotten in to last night anyway. Rob pushed me to go ahead ..... thanks honey! It was a good night for us girls. If you have preschoolers ... you should check Miss PattyCake out if you haven't! God was speaking to me to through the songs as well .... about Moses in a basket, Joshua marching around the walls of Jericho .... it just reminds me of what a faithful and awesome God we have on our side! Those "children's" Bible stories speak of an incredibly powerful God that is right here in our midst... He continues to do amazing things for His children!!
We also, got to sit by Jackson last night .... it was so good to see him and see how awesome he is doing!!!
Enjoy this gorgeous weekend!!!

We just wanted to let you know that it was our pleasure to have Ryan and Rob for an afternoon of "boy time" in the dirt. Carter says "I had a good time with you Ryan and you can come over any time. I'm praying for you every day. Let's get together and play CARS sometime."
Yea! I found your website.
Sounds like you guys are doing well. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you all.
Take care of yourselves.
