Addie

Just a quick note to ask for your prayers for Addie (me too:)) today. She has her yearly check - up today and the blood draw is never very pretty - yikes!!!! She is such a smart cookie - she knows that the nurses are the ones who do the sticking - so on the way to the doctor she always says over and over again, "NO nurses ... JUST doctor!!". You might want to pray that none of us get banged up too badly while trying to hold her down - she is soooo strong! I would also appreciate your prayers that her check-up and her bloodwork would all be perfectly fine - I'm a little gunshy these days :).

I forgot to mention in my update on Dollywood that Addie is our little daredevil!! She wanted to ride all of the fast and scary rides - I told Rob that when she gets a little older that she and I will be taking a trip to Cedar Point - I have ALWAYS wanted to go there and now I realize I have someone that will love riding all of those rides with me! She was a hoot - laughing and screaming - we rode the scrambler over and over (I know that's not that scary - but for Addie I was really impressed!) Ryan on the other hand ..... he's all about the games and winning prizes. The rides are okay, but he doesn't like any scary or fast ones.

Addie Funny: (At an egg hunt) You know how those precious children with Down Syndrome are just little angels. Well ... our little angel :) spotted an egg at the same time another little girl spotted it - they both were running to it - Addie holds up her hands to the little girl and yells "NO girl - NO!" She then quickly snatched the egg and put it in her basket - it was just precious .... NOT!! Her mean mommy made her hand the egg to the other girl. Don't worry - Addie's basket was running over. She cracks us up and keeps us laughing .......
