MRI time again

It is hard to believe that 3 months have past so quickly - I am late in posting this, but Ryan has his MRI this morning at 8:30. You know what we are praying for. Please agree with us in prayer for a clear scan - that there would be no evidence of cancer in his little body. Pray the IV stick goes well also - this causes lots of anxiety for my boy. He has already had more sticks than I will probably ever have in my lifetime. Last night Ryan asked me if he would have to get MRI's forever until he gets to heaven ......... those questions always hurt so much and we wish that we could take it all away. I can't wait for that day when all of this is over and we stand before His throne!!! Until then, I will continue to ask for a long and incredible life for Ryan and that the time between the MRI's can get longer and longer. As always, we covet your prayers and love you all so, so much.

Please continue to pray for our friends Jackson, Ethan, and MaKenzie ....... honestly, I could fill up a page with names of precious children who are in this battle right now - not a day goes by that I don't think about them all.

September is Childhood Cancer awareness month by the way - most don't know that, but when you live this you learn lots of things. Rob actually had the opportunity to write an article for a Lifeway magazine "ParentLife" for this month and share a little of our journey - if you get a chance, get a copy.

Praying, praying, praying...

Isaiah 49:25
But this is what the Lord says:
Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save."

Cancer may be strong, but our God is stronger.

I love you!
