Happy Birthday Jesus and Cookies for Santa

Addie and Ryan made a great birthday cake for Jesus - we usually do this on Christmas Eve - but it usually feels rushed, so we did it tonight when we had plenty of time to enjoy it.

We also made our cookies for Santa - yes, Santa does come to our house - no stones please :). I don't think Rob nor I either one were too damaged when we learned of the truth - those of you who know us well may disagree - ha! Addie found that eating the chocolate chips was much more fun than the actual decorating. The two men in our family (who both happen to be extremely Type A personalities) - enjoyed decorating many cookies. Daddy got pretty intense with this event .........
