Update: October 25, 2006
We heard from the oncologist today and Ryan's tumor was a Medulablastoma. Such an ugly name for such a wicked thing! Even though we knew this was coming, it is still a kick in the stomach and evokes feelings that you can't even begin to explain. We will be going Thursday for a spinal tap at 1:00. PLEASE PRAY THAT THERE ARE NO CANCER CELLS IN HIS SPINAL FLUID!! Ryan will have to have both radiation and chemotherapy, the specific plan hinges on what the results of the spinal tap are. Your prayers mean everything to us right now. It is still hard for me to believe that I am writing all of this about our precious boy. My, how our lives have changed in such a short time.

Hello Ryan. We want you to know that we are praying for you and your family. We also want you to know that Jesus will carry you through this situation and that He loves you so very much.
